When I'm not on stage, I'm probably setting up gear with Ian Shaw, for our duo Ram and Ian! We are a piano-guitar vocal duo that plays frequently at restaurants, clubs, private events, and weddings. We have a particular soft spot for Simon and Garfunkel--who we are playing a tribute concert for in September!

Ram and Ian formed about 5 years ago, when Ian and I met freshman year of college (during the first wave of Covid, mind you). At the time, Ian was still part of a band he'd been in since high school, and they were looking for a keyboard player! Shortly after I joined, however, the group disbanded. We were all going to different colleges and couldn't feasibly rehearse or perform together. Ian and I decided to continue playing together, practicing in Ian's dimly lit dorm room. It was the PERFECT Covid activity hah! Steadily, as we performed more and more at restaurants and local events, our duo has built a name for itself in Hartford county.
